Hey everyone, it’s been a hot minute…which is usually the way with me, I’m not a real organiser or planner when it comes to the way I ‘Social media’ for business, so you may not see another blog from me for 12 months, or I could do another next week it’s all a big uncertain surprise.

Anyway, I recently took some self portraits of the kids and I on Mother’s Day, and I’m so glad I made the effort, it’s actually been way too long.

These were taken in my Mum’s flower fields - most of you should know her by now, she goes by @willowvioletandflora - and I’m even thinking this could be a fantastic spot for Mother’s Day mini sessions next year! I’ll get planning…

In other news, I’ve had so many beautiful shoots recently, lots of families in their homes, it really brings me so much joy capturing people where they live. Deeply personal, full of connection and play, and everyone is comfortable in a familiar environment.

Other new things

I recently added a new print to my Print Store, titled ‘The Old Post Office’, it’s a beautiful relic from the past, still standing on the main street of Lake Bolac. No doubt it’s filled with stories, that’s one of the main reasons I’m drawn to old buildings, I spend time imagining who has walked through the doors, peered out the windows and the conversations that line the walls, so much mystery.
